Getting Those Contacts Out

Guys, here’s a quick-fire guide that may help when exporting contacts on 4Phone….

How To: Export 4Phone Contacts onto USB

Enter Developer Mode

Home / Settings / About Phone / Keep pressing ‘Build Number’ until you are Developer / Scroll down and select ‘Show all installed apps’. 

Export Contacts

Home / Contacts / Click on 3 dots (top right of screen) / Select Import/Export / Export to Storage / Click OK / Make note of file name (usually 00001.vcf) / Drag down the icon in the top left of screen to see progress

Copying Contacts to USB

Create folder on USB drive and plug into back of 4Phone

Copy contacts export file

Home / More Apps / Open Manager / Local Disk / Storage / SDCard0 / Select saved file by pressing icon until sub menu appears / Click ‘Copy’ on the top right of screen.

Move Exported contacts to USB storage

Home / More Apps / Open Manager / Local Disk / mnt / usbdisk / usb-disk (1,2,3 etc) / Hold down the folder you want to copy the contacts list to / click on 3 dots (top right of screen) Click ‘Paste Into Folder’ / Click Done

Remove USB
